On November 6, the School of Power and Energy Engineering invited Professor Ge Baojun, deputy director of the Teaching Guidance Committee for Electrical Engineering Disciplines at the Ministry of Education, deputy director of the Large Motor Specialist Committee of the China Electrotechnical Society, and professor at Harbin University of Science and Technology, to give a special report at our institute. The report was hosted by Professor Gao Jie, deputy dean of the teaching department, with the participation of the institute's secretary of the Party Committee Li Hongbo, group leaders, center directors, and course coordinators for professional foundation and core courses.

Professor Ge Baojun made a special report entitled "Perception of textbook Construction". In the report, Mr. Ge took the textbook of "Electrical Engineering" as an example from the aspects of the significance, history, inheritance and development of textbook construction, and combined with majors, courses, textbooks and their relationships, he discussed the construction of early courses of "Electrical Engineering", the construction of fine courses of "Electrical Engineering" and the construction of fine resource-sharing courses. The author shared the "exchange perception of curriculum construction" from four aspects of MOOCs and gold course construction.

Mr. Ge analyzed the development status of the motor industry under the industrial Internet and intelligent manufacturing environment, and introduced the concept update of electrical machinery, future technological development and current opportunities and challenges from four aspects of intelligent manufacturing, enterprise integration, technological innovation and system integration. Combined with his own work experience and research team building process, Mr. Ge constructively proposed that teaching needs more love and responsibility, and a good professor with attainments in teaching and research is a good professor from an international perspective.

After the presentation, Mr. Ge had an in-depth exchange with the teachers of our college, and had more new ideas on the preparation of the textbooks and matters for attention, which is very conducive to the subsequent construction of high-quality textbooks. Through Mr. Ge's sharing, the teachers have a deeper understanding of the ideas of textbook writing and the requirements for the evaluation of the textbook construction award, which has benefited a lot and will be of great help to the textbook reform in the future. The school hopes that more teachers will participate in the reform and compilation of teaching materials, and continuously improve the quality of teaching materials for the benefit of students.
