Laboratory of Flexible Foundation-Shafting Propulsion
The laboratory of flexible foundation-shafting propulsion has an experimental verification system to simulate the dynamic characteristics of hull and shafts of hovercrafts under complex ocean environments.
1. Composition and Working Principle of Test Bench
The system is composed of propulsion shaft system and flexible floating box. The propulsion shaft system includes alternative current motor, gear reduction, cushion rising fan, air pitch propeller, intermediate shaft segment etc. The floating box supported by the 14 air springs adopts the steel frame structure, which is used to simulate the operating conditions of the propulsion shafts under complex ocean environment by adjusting the state of the different air springs..
2. Function and Performance of Test Bench
The test bench can be used to simulate the motion state of hull and shafts of hovercrafts in complicated ocean environment. It can provide effective methods of experimental verification for studying shafts alignment as well as control technology of shaft vibration in flexible hull, the coupling vibration of marine shafting as well as flexible hull and its control technology, incongruous vibration of symmetric shafting control technology and so on.
3. Achievements and Applications
Up to now, we have undertaken the MPRD special project, several pre-research projects and basic research projects. We have obtained five invention patents and won the second prize of national science and technology progress once.
