Laboratory of Sequential Turbocharging Thermal Power
The test bench of sequential turbocharging thermal power is designed for the study of sequential turbocharging system of the diesel engine, and the verification test system of supercharger and supercharger system.
1. Composition and Working Principle of Test Bench
Test bench of sequential turbocharging thermal power is mainly composed of pipeline system, inlet air parameters adjusting system of combustion chamber, control system, measurement and data acquisition system, fuel supply and combustion engine system, turbocharger lubrication system, outlet exhaust control system of test bench and so on. The high-temperature and high-pressure gas generated in the combustion chamber is used to drive the turbine, consequently the air with certain pressure is generated. The test bench can self-circulate through the regulation system.
2. Function and Performance of Test Bench
The test of electric control system of sequential turbocharging and VGT validation, supper-charged air by-pass, deflation and control experimental study, a variety of models of electric control system of VGT test research and the experimental study on characteristic of the turbocharger can be carried out on the test bench. The test bench has the advantages of reasonable design, convenient operation, high automation degree, complete security facilities and accurate measurement parameters. The test bench can be used to do the experiment research of sequential turbocharging systems and turbochargers.
3. Achievements and Applications
Up to now, we have undertaken the MPRD special project, several naval pre-research projects, and 863 program subtopics. We have obtained seven invention patents and won the first prize of national defense science and technology progress once, and published more than 30 papers.
