    Wang Donghua is mainly engaged in the research of shafting dynamics mechanism and fault diagnosis and treatment technology of ship power plant. As a core member, he undertakes major urgently needed research topics in the industry, such as simulation comprehensive evaluation and improvement of ship power plant and vibration performance prediction design technology of transmission device. As a project leader, the equipment development "much starker choices-and graver consequences-in" equipment research fund 1, and to project leader, technical director or technical backbone, successively involved in more than 20 vibration reduction noise reduction related research topic, has relatively rich experience in simulation analysis and field test, solve the enterprise and institute of mechanical equipment vibration problem. It has won 3 provincial and ministerial awards, including 1 first prize of national defense Science and Technology in 2018 (ranked 4 th), 1 first prize of Marine Engineering Science and Technology Award in 2017 (ranked 2 nd), and 1 second prize of Science and Technology Progress in Heilongjiang Province in 2012 (ranked 3 rd). In the past five years, he has published 14 academic papers as the first author or corresponding author, including 6 SCI journal papers, 1 EI journal paper, 4 papers in international academic conferences, 3 domestic academic conferences, 3 patents and 8 software Copyrights as the first author. Guided and participated in guiding more than 40 undergraduate and graduate students. He successively served as the head teacher of turbine Engineering class 20100341 and 20170341, and won the title of "Excellent Head Teacher of the School" twice.
