Liu Long, male, born in October 1980, is a doctor of energy science, professor and doctoral director, Kyoto University, Japan. He is currently the director of the Institute of Power Plant of Harbin Engineering University, and the deputy director of the R & D Department of China Shipbuilding Power Research Institute Co., Ltd. in June 2019. He has won the titles and awards of National High-level Young Talents, "Shi Shaoxi Talent Award" of China Internal Combustion Engine Society, China Industry-University-Research Cooperation Innovation Award, Outstanding Scientific and Technological Worker of Heilongjiang Province, and Outstanding Youth Project of Heilongjiang Natural Science Foundation. Currently, he is a director of China Internal Combustion Engine Society, a director of the National Key Laboratory of Energy LNG Offshore Storage and Transportation Equipment, a chairman of the Combustion Visualization Branch of the International Internal Combustion Engine Conference (CIMAC) Organizing Committee, and an expert in greenhouse gas emission technology of "Active Shipbuilding Expert Alliance (ASEF)". Mainly engaged in the basic and applied research on energy transformation science, ship engine combustion theory, low-carbon / zero-carbon fuel, combustion testing and control technology, etc. It has undertaken scientific research projects such as Ye Qisun Science Foundation of National Natural Science Foundation of China, National Key Research and Development Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Major Project of Marine low-speed aircraft of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ship Power Innovation Capacity Improvement Project of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, etc. Published more than 60 journals and international conference papers, authorized more than 60 national invention patents, 3 international invention patents, obtained more than 10 software Copyrights; participated in 2 national standards. It has won one first prize of provincial and ministerial science and technology awards, four second prizes of provincial and ministerial science and technology awards, one first prize of invention and innovation of China Association of Invention, one outstanding project of the National Disruptive Technology Innovation Competition of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and one second prize of the 2022 BRICS Industrial Innovation Competition.Is now a member of the American institute of mechanical engineers (ASME), Japan association of automotive engineers (JSAE) member and senior certified engineer, member of international combustion society, China internal combustion engine industry association expert committee, Marine low speed machine engineering management office key technology management commissioner, Marine low speed engine engineering technical committee, director of the professional committee.
