Dr. Yipeng Cao is an Associate Professor In College of Power and Energy Engineering at Harbin Engineering University. He received his PhD in Marine Engineering from Harbin Engineering University in 2008. From June 2010 to June 2014, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Station for Power Engineering and Engineering Thermophysics at Harbin Engineering University. Since joining the workforce, he has been responsible for teaching undergraduate courses in "Internal Combustion Engine Dynamics" and graduate courses in "Finite Element Analysis Methods and Application." He has supervised 30 undergraduate thesis projects and received recognition as an outstanding advisor for undergraduate thesis design.

Currently, he serves as the principal investigator for 1 National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) project, 10 provincial-level basic research projects, 1 national-level online course construction project, and 2 provincial-level educational reform projects. As the first author, he has published more than 60 papers in domestic and international academic journals in his research field. He is also a peer review expert for the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC). His contributions have been recognized with one Second Prize for National Scientific and Technological Progress and one Second Prize for Technological Progress in Heilongjiang Province.
