We mainly develop researches on overall design and parts design of marine diesel engines, the match of ship, diesel engine and pitch propeller, internal combustion engine turbocharging technology, supercharger design, marine diesel engine combustion process and emission control technology. We also study on vibration and noise control technology of marine power plant, pipeline system vibration, noise transmission and control technology, coupling vibration of propeller and shaft and basic technology of sound radiation of hull. We have undertaken many projects including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, special international cooperation projects in Ministry of Science and Technology of the People’s Republic of China, special ocean projects of National Development and Reform Commission, special ship project of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of China, horizontal research project and so on. We have published more than 300 papers including 100 papers searched by SCI and obtained more than 50 authorized national invention patents.
